The program will explore our migration and integration experiences through the use of dramatic arts, games, improvisation, movement, sound, spoken word, rapping, music and theatre production. The goal of the program is to inspire the youth with renewed confidence, public speaking skills and language development, as well as nurture a healthy sense of belonging and community by centering the creative experience around their own culture and narrative.

Studio Sixty Six would like to invite you to an upcoming photography show featuring Colombian-Canadian artist Katy Lopez. Lopez’s work feature both Canadian refugees from across the world (Rwanda, Syria, Colombia) and children living in areas of conflict in Colombia.  The subjects in Katy Lopez’s Refugees series emerge and interact with the foreground through a window, offering dimension to portraits of Canadian refugees from areas of conflict.
